Joe and Sherri Willis have been members of Cross and Crown since 2014 and have been active in ministry of various kinds for over 30 years. Joe is a former pastor and a retired chaplain from the United States Army. He and his wife Sherri have 7 children and now 6 grandchildren. Joe currently is a recruiter/endorser for Foundations Baptist Fellowship and actively travels to recruite guys to go into the chaplaincy in the military, police departments, fire departments, and prison systems around the country. Sherri is a stay at home mom and takes care of their special needs daughter, Katelyn, who requires 24/7 care. They are both actively involved in ministry here at the church as Joe teaches a Sunday School class, helps in building and remodeling work, and helps out in the teen ministry from time to time. Sherri works in the nursery, organizes and labels our tracts for outreach, and actively reachs out to people from home. They are a huge blessing to our church and we have loved having them within out leadership team.
